Thoughts

• inner stories and language we use matter a lot
  • let’s be careful what metaphors we use in our regular life
• one word “friend” compresses such a deep multidimensionality of relationships. (→when sharing a story with them, better to give a friend a name right away. )
• language also created this whole notion of “self”
• we can come up w our own metaphors → poetry is so cool
• metaphors give things new meaning

our human brain tendencies

• our brain just wants to put abstract things into tangible things
• search for explanatory power
• we want to put things into boxes, define them, give them boundaries. this gives us an ability yo control and make utiulity out of it.
  • understanding a situation where we see the fog as being in front of a mountain requires us to view a mountains and fog as a entities
